Salzburg-based. Always building.
Hi, I'm Gerhard. I build tours, tools and systems.
I keep making things: tours, courses, directories, booking systems. Most of them are simple. All of them connect back to this city. This site is where the work gets written down.
Salzburg
Most of what I build only makes sense because it is shaped by living here. It is the home base and usually the starting point.
Tourism
Guiding taught me how to simplify information, tell a story clearly, and build systems around people instead of around software.
Digital
I do not just build websites. I build the systems behind them: teaching, booking, publishing, managing. Tools that work together.

All 14 posts- My Own Site Inventory Was Wrong in Four PlacesI had a careful written inventory of this site before migrating it. Fetching every URL instead found 13 posts rather than 10, and 23 images broken for years.

What is running
All 9 projects- Free Walking Tour SalzburgThe tip-based walking tour started in 2018, grown from one guide taking sign-ups at a hostel reception into a small licensed team.
- Rikschatours SalzburgSalzburg's rickshaw tour company, taken over from its founder after the pandemic pause: site and booking rebuilt, the offer cut back to three tours.
- Exclusive ExplorationsPrivate guiding in Salzburg, run with licensed guide Markus. Small scale, fixed experience categories, no marketplace and no upsells.
- KoreanischkursA German-language Korean course grown from lockdown YouTube videos into 300 videos, three books, live classes and an eLearning platform.
- Hyunok JangThe English-language counterpart to Koreanischkurs, run as Hyunok's own teaching brand and deliberately limited to a YouTube channel and translated books.
